Peek-A-Boo Kitten
Hello there, Michelle here sharing a card made using the new Square Peek-A-Boo Doors Mini Infinity Dies. These are so fun to use to create secret messages, places for little gifts (like gift cards or money) or even create shakers inside. I kept my card pretty simple today, but there is lots that you can do with them!
I started off my card by taking a panel of Hero Hues Dove White Cardstock and die cutting the second largest of the Square Peek-A-Boo Door Mini Infinity Dies in the top middle. I then masked off the left side (where the hinge is) and popped a piece of scrap paper behind the door. I then blended Blue Hawaii Reactive Ink on top, focusing most of the colour towards the bottom of the door.
I took this panel and placed it over another panel. With the door open, I lightly drew around the inside of the window with a pencil. This gave me a guide of where to stamp the message and image on the inside. Using a Mini MISTI and Intens-ified Black Ink, I stamped the sentiment from the Tranquility set towards the top and a kitten from the Kitten In Kimonos set. I thought it would look cute to have the kitten popping it's head just above the bottom of the door.
The pencil lines were erased and the kitten coloured using Copic Markers. I added foam tape to the back of the window piece and placed it on top of the panel. Both panel were then adhered to a top folding card base with tape runner. For the front panel, I took another of the kittens from the Kittens in Kimonos set and stamped it on to more white cardstock with Intens-ified Black Ink. I made a mask and then stamped the parasol so that the kitten looked like she was holding it.
They were coloured using Copic Markers and then fussy cut out with scissors. There are coordinating dies for the set which you could use if you wanted to stamp the images separately. I then took the sentiment from the Hello Stamp & Cut and stamped it on to Hero Hues Pitch Black Cardstock using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was then cut in to a strip.
Both were added to the door with foam tape (making sure to only put foam tape on the sentiment strip that was on the door and not the card base itself). The sentiment strip works well for the recipient to pull up on to open the door. To finish off, I added a few jewels.
As well as the squares, there are also rectangles, ovals and circles in the Peek-A-Boo Doors line. I hope that you will check them out, they are a lot of fun! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Happy stamping!

That is so sweet. I never noticed the eyes on the Stamos set… Closed on the front and smiling open inside, that was a super cute effect on the peek a boo inside…a very warm and soft card!
