October My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #6 + Giveaway!

Hello, we are back with another Countdown to Creativity post before launching our October My Monthly Hero Kit and add-ons on Monday, October 2nd at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific.  We'll be giving away one kit tomorrow morning, before the kit launches, so be sure to comment on every Countdown post!  Now, join Amy as she shares a fun card created with stamps from the main kit.

This month's kit is filled with so much fun! I know that you'll love it as much as I do. I decided to focus on the main kit for today's card:

I haven't designed a shaker card in a while and I thought those images were perfect for that technique. All the images have been stamped with Chalkboard Black Mid-Tone Shadow Ink. I wanted to stay with a red and aqua color palette but had to sneak in a green tree.

I teamed up papers from the Pool Mix Layering Papers and Blush Mix Layering Papers packages.

I used the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies for my window. With the images adhered to the outside of the shaker window, it makes the sequins move around more freely.  Those beautiful sequins are from the Frost Sequin Mix.

The sentiment, from the main kit, has been heat embossed in white on black cardstock.

Win a kit before you can buy it!  Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post!  We'll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts and announce the winner first thing tomorrow morning, October 2nd, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern.  The more you comment, the more chances to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Be sure to come back tomorrow for the kit reveal!

This card is more of a challenge to make, more time but a feeling of artistic success after finishing.
