Moon and Stars Scene Building
Hi everyone, Ilina here with my take on this week's Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge. This time we decided to "Build a Scene" by combining different stamps and/or dies.
For my card I combined a few new stamp sets and a die to create a night scene.
To make the card start by stamping the ocean/sea using the Color Layering Waves stamp set (as an alternative you could use the Beach HeroScapes set, too) on a 4 1/4' x 5 1/2" piece of Dove White cardstock. Stamp the layers using Light Purple to Grape Juice Ombre ink, Navy Shadow ink and Amethyst Pigment ink as the last layer. Emboss the last layer using Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder.
Using masking paper or tape, mask off the stamped section. Die cut a mask using the moon die from the Color Layering Howling Wolf Frame Cuts. Add the mask to the panel. Stamp Galaxy Peek-a-boo Parts using Embossing and Watermark ink and emboss using Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder.
Without removing the masks, ink blend Light Purple to Grape Juice Ombre ink, Navy shadow ink, Grape Slush, Berry Smoothie and Taffy Reactive inks. Splash some water and White Shimmer Iridescent Spray. Once done, remove the masks and stamp the moon from the Color Layering Howling Wolf set using Soft Yellow and Soft Granite ink pads. Set aside.
Cut a piece of Pitch Black cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5" and die cut it using the Music in the Night Window Fancy Die. Die cut another one using Dove White cardstock.
Stamp sentiment from You Are My Universe set onto the black frame using Embossing and Watermark ink and emboss using White embossing powder. Stamp the stars from the same set on the top corners of the frame and emboss using Ultra Fine Clear embossing powder.
Adhere the frames togethe, offsetting them a little bit with the Pitch Black layer on top. Trim the ink blended panel to 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere the window frame on top of it. Using fun foam, adhere the panel to a Top Folding Dove White note card.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have an amazing day!

I love complicated cards, with lots of ink colors and different stamps. I love this card and would like to try it.

What an AWESOME card! The sentiments made me think of Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targareyen.
