Meet Hero's Heroes: Arnie!

Today we are excited to introduce you to another member of the Hero Arts family. In this feature we show you the people behind the scenes who work hard to bring you quality products and inspiration. We call them Hero's Heroes because they are how we do what we do!

Let's get to know Arnie Orcullo!

What you do for Hero Arts and how long you have been here?
I started working here in 2004 as a puller, and since 2014 I've worked as the Production Supervisor/Manager. I manage the production work for the warehouse including ordering, assembling, pulling and packing - wherever help is needed.

What are 3 words to describe Hero Arts?
3 F's: Fun, Family and Friendship

Tell us a little bit about you.
I'm originally from the Philippines, grew up there and came to the US when I was 18, alongside my whole family, including my parents as well as my older brother. I have been married for 20 years now and I have one daughter who works with me at Hero as a part time employee.

I love to cook but only once in a while. I'm into coloring and crafts and once I put myself into it, I make sure that I do it well. Since COVID-19 I am now a K-drama FANATIC! :) (That's Korean drama for those of you who don't know.)

What is the kindest thing that anyone has ever done for you?
Hands down it has to be my husband, anything that I would need or want, he will do or get it for me. He is always there for me. Everything that he has done for me, I will always be thankful for it.

Do you have a favorite quote?
FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT

Best vacation you’ve been to?
Every time I go to the Philippines it's always the best vacation. I get to see my relatives, friends and visit my dad.

If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be?
I would want to talk to my dad, he passed away suddenly and didn't get to say goodbye. I am a daddy's girl, there are so many things that I would like to ask and say.

If your house was burning down, what is the one non-living thing you would save?
My purse, most of the things that I will need, will be in there. :)

Thank you, Arnie, for helping us to get to know you better. We are grateful that you are part of the Hero Arts family!
