May My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #4 + Giveaway!

Ilina Crouse

We are back for another countdown post, leading up to the release of the May My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, May 7th at 1pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. We'll be sharing ideas all weekend long using both the main kit, as well as new optional add-on products that will be available on Monday. And don't forget to leave a comment on this and every post as we will be giving away a kit on Monday. Now let's join Ilina who is sharing another look at this fabulous kit...

Hi everyone, Ilina here today with more inspiration using the May My Monthly Hero kit. I love the versatility of this kit and all the possibilities for building different scenes. For my card today I started with a piece of Radiant White Cardstock, I used the Rounded Rectangle Infinity Dies to dry emboss the rectangle and masked it off. Using an ink blending tool and the beautiful new Ombré Reactive Spring Day inkpad, I did some ink blending. I flicked some water and picked it up with a paper towel.

Once my panel was completely dry, using my MISTI I stamped several of the elements from the kit using Intense Black ink, then overstamped with Versamark and embossed using Ultra Fine embossing powder.

To finish off my card I adhered my panel to a folded black note card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. And don't forget to come back tomorrow for more inspiration using the new May My Monthly Hero kit.

that is a great card. Love the kids swinging, that reminds me of my summer days as a kid. Great card.

Wow, my favorite so far! I am loving these colors.

Yes, yes, yes. So, I see a girl and a boy in the new set. I also see what looks like multiple swings, of one swing die that can be positioned differently. This is so great! Oh yes, even the grass is great. I am overwhelmed…in a very good way!

This is stunning! It’s a scene you feel like you could jump into. Cannot way to try the reactive ink.
