March My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #4 + Giveaway

Ilina Crouse

It's time for our fourth countdown peek! The March My Monthly Hero kit will be available on Monday, March 2 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Now let’s join Ilina, who is sharing another look at this month's kit!

Hi everyone! As soon as I saw the kit and the tree I wanted to stamp the tree in a bunch of different colors, so for my card today I went out of the ordinary and stamped it in blue! (Just imagine all the other color possibilities). The tree is two step layering and it's very easy to layer, so stamping them is a breeze.

To make the card start by stamping the tree top using Pool Party and Splash Reactive Inks. Die cut it. Stamp the trunk using Cup O'Joe Shadow Ink, die cut and set aside.

Next stamp the grass (Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple Reactive Inks), rocks and the tiny buildings (Soft Granite and Charcoal Shadow Inks) and die cut them (hand cut the rocks). Set them aside.

Using a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Dove White cardstock, die cut an oval using the Oval Infinity Dies

Trim the grass to 4" wide and adhere to a Dove White top folding notecard. Adhere the Oval Frame and stamp the sentiment using Intens-ified Black ink. Assemble the rest of the elements on your card!

Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Monday morning, March 2, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!

How fun to think of all of the colors that could work. Love the layering stamps

Love the blue trees! Can’t wait to see the rest of the kit. I know a number of people that would love Japanese accents and I am curious to see what else is in the kit.
