Let’s Pack Up & Go

Hello there, Michelle here and I am sharing a card today using the new Go On A Safari set that was an add-on for the June My Monthly Hero kit. I started my card by taking a piece of Kraft Layering Paper. I inked up the Mud Cloth Bold Prints using Cup O’ Joe Mid-Tone Shadow Ink and stamped this down on to the kraft paper. This was then added on to the front of an A2 white card base.

I took the suitcases and hat image from the Go On A Safari set and made a mask first for the hat. I stamped the hat using Intense Black Ink on to a piece of white cardstock. I added the mask on top and then stamped the suitcases. I removed the mask and coloured the images in with Copic Markers. I fussy cut them out using scissors and outlined the edges with a black pen. I cut a piece of vellum using one of the Circle Infinity Dies and added the suitcases and hat piece on top with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment on to white cardstock, cut in to a strip and added this also with foam tape on to the circle. The circle piece was then added to the card base with tape runner. I decided to make a coordinating envelope for my card, so I stamped the Mud Cloth Bold Prints on to the flap of a Snow Envelope using Soft Brown Shadow Ink.

Thanks so much for visiting us today, happy stamping!
