Kids United Sunny Day
Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here! Today I am sharing a project created with Kids United. This adorable set is part of the Unity Collection and was created in collaboration with Hero Arts, Dana Joy and myself. This set includes sweet images and sentiments that can be used for various projects and occasions.
To create my home décor project, I started with the beautiful HeroScapes layering set from the December 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit. There are many HeroScapes layering stamps set that would work perfectly with this project. I stamped two cloudy layers with Soft Sky Shadow Ink and Thistle Reactive Ink onto Dove White Cardstock. I then stamped the smaller sun rays with Lemon Drop Reactive Ink and the birds in Intense Black Ink.
Next, I colored below the clouds with various green Copic markers to create grass and a horizon. Once done, I used a Nesting Circle Infinity Die to cut out the scene and adhered it to a 4” embroidery hoop with Precision Glue.
While the glue was drying on the embroidery hoop, I colored and cut the girls on the swings with the coordinating Kids United Frame Cuts. I then adhered the swing ropes onto the hoop and let dry.
Next, I hot glued various paper flowers around the front of the hoop and added a white ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed my project today! Thanks for taking a peek!
