June My Monthly Hero Countdown: Idea #2 + Giveaway!
We’re back for another countdown post, leading up to the release of the June My Monthly Hero kit! Release day is Monday, June 5th at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We’ll be here all weekend long, sharing ideas for using both the main kit, as well as new optional add-on products that will be available on Monday. And don’t forget to comment on each and every post as we’ll be giving away a kit on Monday morning, before the kit launches! Here’s Amy with another look at the new kit.
This month’s My Monthly Hero kit and optional add-ons are wonderful! I have been having so much fun with all the products!
Let’s start at the bottom and work our way up. I used a panel from the Earth Mix Layering Papers and stamped the new CG712 Tribal Stripes Bold Prints (a June add-on) with Wet Cement Shadow Ink. The very fun circular die from the main kit has been watercolored. The ‘be strong’ sentiment was stamped with Intense Black. The pale blue vellum is from my stash which has been cut with a Circle Infinity Die. The elephant, from the main kit, was cut from the same color cardstock as my main panel. I did some light watercoloring underneath the elephant to ground him.
I’m happy with this gender neutral design. The main kit is full of great images and sentiments, it was tough picking out what I wanted to feature today!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Win a kit before you can buy it! Just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post! We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all of the comments left across all countdown posts and announce the winner first thing Monday morning, June 5th, before the kit launches at 1pm Eastern. The more you comment, the more chances you’ll have to win.
Good luck!

debaherod@yahoo.com. I love the sunset colors! Reminds me of sunsets in South Africa, especially with the elephant.

Love the colors and, of course, the elephant.
