Our next LIVE Make-Along event is this weekend! Join Channin from our Creative Team to make along with the April 2023 My Monthly Hero kit. Gather your supplies and create a card with Channin from start to finish.

In addition to the April My Monthly Hero kit, the following supplies will be used:
Watercolor paper
PS325 Dove White Cardstock
PS323 Pitch Black Cardstock
AF419 Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink
PW122 White Detail Embossing Powder
PW119 Detail Black Embossing Powder
Neon Brights Liquid Watercolors
- PD137 Bights Purple
- PD136 Brights Pink
- PD135 Brights Red
- PD133 Brights Sunshine
- PD131 Brights Chartreuse
- PD130 Brights Green
- PD134 Brights Orange
Paint brushes (round 1 & flat 1/2”)
PS400 Dove White Top Folded Cards
GW101 Precision Glue
Foam Adhesive
Paper trimmer
Stamp Positioning Tool, ex. MISTI
Die-cutting Machine
Low-Tack Tape (die-cutting)
Heat Tool
Instructions:
- Trim watercolor paper to create two A2 panels (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”).
- Stamp one of the watercolor panels with the tweedy background texture cling in Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink, pour over Detail White Embossing Powder, tap off excess and then heat set.
- Watercolor with the neon liquid watercolors and the flat brush a gradation over the panel then set aside to dry.
- Stamp the flowers and leaves in Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink onto the second watercolor panel then pour over Detail Black Embossing Powder, tap off excess and then heat set.
- Watercolor the flowers and leaves with neon liquid watercolors.
- Die cut flowers and leaves out with the coordinating dies.
- Die cut a vase out of Dove White cardstock.
- Stamp a sentiment in Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink onto Pitch Black cardstock, pour over Detail White Embossing Powder, tap off excess and then heat set.
- Die cut sentiment out with coordinating die.
- Adhere watercolored panel to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base.
- Adhere vase, flowers and sentiment to card front with foam adhesive.
