Jiffy Card

Sometimes (okay, a lot of times!), you just need a card in a jiffy. For me, cards for guys are always the hardest to jiffy up, but the Enjoy the Journey stamp set makes it a cinch!

I stamped the ship first, and colored it in using my ZIG Clean Color markers. After coloring, I die cut the colored ship, then die cut a second ship, to adhere the two together and give greater dimension. The sentiment was also stamped and die cut.

I placed the ship and speech bubble on kraft paper as markers as to where I wanted to stamp the rest of my elements. Working my way around the image, I stamped the various little sea creatures and images in black ink.

The matching sentiment, which can easily be changed to “we” instead of “I”, was stamped in Versamark on black cardstock, and then heat embossed in white. I cut it out as a strip, and adhered it to the kraft paper.

The kraft paper was adhered to the card base, and that finished up the card! This card uses basic supplies, and the design can be used for a multitude of occasions.

For a more feminine version, you could add sparkles to the sails. You could also make a great gift card set by coloring a rainbow of ships!

Thanks so much for stopping in and God bless!
