Hello and welcome as we begin the countdown to the release of the January My Monthly Hero Kit! Release day is Monday, January 6 at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. We will be here all weekend long, sharing inspiration before the launch on Monday. Now let's join Caly for the first look at this beautiful kit!

Hi, friends! Welcome to today's countdown to the next My Monthly Hero kit! This month's kit is so refreshing and fun! I love the envelope and bouquet wrap dies that are included! The kit comes with a pretty Sparkle Pink embossing powder that I used to stamp the newspaper print from the included stamp set.

I secured my bouquet wrap with a staple, then die-cut the flowers with white cardstock and foliage to color with Copic markers (Y18, YR24, G43, G46, C1, C3, B91, B93, R22, R24, R29).

Once everything was colored, I layered them inside the bouquet wrap, arranging a bouquet as I went. On a blank panel, I ink-blended lightly with Pool Party Reactive Ink, then adhered my bouquet at an angle.

My final step was stamping and embossing the sentiment over black cardstock using White Detail embossing powder. The banner die is also a part of this month's kit - it cuts out all the sentiments perfectly! I adhered it over my panel using a double layer of foam adhesive to bring it to the height of the wrapped bouquet.

I hope you liked this card!  I can't wait to see what everyone does with this month's kit!

Nice die that can be used for many other themes. The color choices here are perfect. Is there a staple in the middle of the page? If so, what else might be used to serve the same purpose.
