It's a Lemonade Kind of Day!
Hello there, Michelle here with a card using the new Lemonade Day Bundle. This is a fun set that is perfect for summer!
I started off by stamping the pitcher, glasses, lemons and mint leaves from Lemonade Day on to Deluxe Smooth White cardstock using Intens-ified Black ink. I coloured them using Copic Markers. I went with a traditional lemonade look, but I think they would look great in bright cocktail type colours too!
The images were die cut using the coordinating Lemonade Day dies and then set aside. I took a panel of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine to emboss the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die on top.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to see in the photos (you can just about see it on the edge of the card), but in real-life it really adds to the card and helps to ground the images.
The panel was adhered to an A2 white card base with tape runner adhesive. I die cut the pitcher die another two times and layered them up one on top of another using Precision Glue. It was adhered to the card and then the other elements adhered using foam tape.
I stamped a sentiment from the set using Intens-ified Black ink, die cut it out and popped it up with another three die cuts. It was adhered below the other elements, which also helps to ground them. The card was finished off with white gel pen highlights and Black Enamel Dots.
I love how the yellow really pops against the white card base! Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful day!
