A few months ago, we were overwhelmed with the response to our design team call. We had a huge group of creative people to choose from, and it wasn't an easy job to narrow it down!

We're so excited to welcome six new members to the Global team!

Emelie Genberg

Hi, Emelie here! I live in Stockholm, Sweden with my family - Andreas and our two kids. I work as a teacher and practice basketball as often as I can. But of course, my real passion is cardmaking and paper crafting in general. I have been a card maker ever since I discovered heat embossing and spent a month watching all YouTube clips I could find. I love this hobby of ours so much, It brings me joy every day. I am so excited to be a part of the Hero arts Global Team.

Janna Werner

My name is Janna Werner, I am papercratter from Germany where I live with my little family and our 2 foster dogs. I am passionate about everything related to paper, from cardmaking to art journaling to scrapbooking and mini albums. I host a monthly Podcast called "Papiersalat auf die Ohren“ in which I discuss crafting related topics with various guests. You see - I can’t get enough of papercrafting! I also teach online and in-person workshops as I enjoy sharing what I know and love to encourage people to get creative.

Joylita D'Souza

I am Joylita D’Souza, a card maker, mixed media artist, Fashion Photographer and Pilates Instructor. Flowers are my muse, and I love capturing their beauty, not just through my lens but also in my cards. Cooking and experimenting with different ingredients to create allergy-friendly recipes is something I really enjoy. I also occasionally find joy in making handmade bead jewellery and embroidery. As a kid, I loved creating handmade cards and giving them as gifts, and that love has only grown over the years. I enjoy exploring new techniques and experimenting with various artistic mediums. Alcohol markers are my go to for colouring stamped images and die cuts, and I love bright, vibrant colours and dramatic backgrounds. Teaching workshops and sharing YouTube videos are my ways of giving back to the incredible cardmaking community. I can’t wait to share my projects with you and I hope they will inspire you!

Natasha Davies

I'm Tasha, but I go by HandmadeByTasha most places. I live in the UK, with my husband and two daughters. I began crafting after I was taken ill in 2016 and I soon discovered the joy it brought me to be able to do something; I was unable to walk and my hands didn't do everything I wanted them to, but I could still achieve something and that was such a revelation. In card making I found the opportunity to work with whatever medium I fancied that day, making whatever I felt inspired to do in that moment. I could make these small pieces of art that would go out into the world and hopefully put a smile on someone's face. At the age of 12, my art teacher told me I couldn't draw, that stuck with me. That hurt. I want to tell you that you can do whatever you want to do and give you the courage to try something. You never know, you might like it! It might even change your life, it did mine!

Niccolo Favro

Hello everyone I’m Nico and I am 31yo. I’m an Italian crafter, I live in a little town near Milan even if I was born and raised in Venice. I started crafting in 2015 and I’m in love with anything vintage as you can see from my creations. I can’t wait to share my art with you, hope you’ll enjoy!!

Waleska Galindo

Hello my name is Waleska Galindo, and I have to admit... I am in love with everything cardmaking!!! I have a wonderful, understanding and supportive husband and 2 full of energy teenagers, Ian is 15 and Leah is 12. I live in the beautiful Guatemala City, Central America. I am also a Graphic Designer I fell in love with cardmaking and stamping almost 12 years ago. During this time I have discovered that I am a very passionate card maker. As a Graphic Designer I developed many artistic skills that help me to have a very versatile style on my projects. My favorite cards to make are scene cards, with beautiful and vibrant color combinations, but I am very adaptable in my designs. I like to use the latest products in creative ways, and also use different medias. I find my inspiration in my everyday life and natural color combinations. I am very honored to be part of this amazing Global Team! I can't wait to share some inspiration and tips I have learned over the years with you! Oh, and I love to make new crafty friends!

We're so happy to welcome back seven members of the Global team!

Anna Mahtani

Anna is from Manila, Philippines. She is a mother of three teenage girls and wife to a very supportive husband. She's been an avid papercrafter for as long as she can remember - scrapbooking, origami, decoupage, papier mache. Around five years ago, she got into cardmaking and hasn't looked back since. When she is not crafting, she works for her family resort business as Managing Director. Her love for all things Hero Arts began with a wood mounted rubber stamp given to her by a friend several years ago. She is looking forward to creating and inspiring you all with her projects using wonderful Hero Arts products!

Arjita Singh

My name is Arjita Singh and I am from India. I love colouring and stamping the most. I have been creative since childhood but I was introduced to stamping in 2012. Ever since then I have been very lucky to have worked with few of the best names in the crafting industry and I just wanna keep learning, inspiring, and creating cards every day.

Erica Andersson

I’m Erica, and I’m a self-confessed craft-a-holic. I’ve always been creative in one way or another, for as long as I can remember. Sewing, wood working, metal working, painting, stitching and embroidery etc etc. The list goes on. My biggest love, however, is card making, and it has been for years now. I started with a Christmas card kit some 14+ years ago and it was a slippery slope from there on. I love colouring and seeing projects come to life in front of me, it speaks to my soul on a deep level. If I didn’t have a crafty outlet, I’m 100% sure I’d go nuts. Or nuttier as some people would say...

Karen Boyce

Hi! I'm Karen and I am the person behind Cards Stamps and Ink! I am a Card maker located in Toronto, Ontario Canada! By day I am in Information Technology and am responsible for System Development. I turned to Card making as a getaway and I love trying new products and colouring until my heart's content! I am so excited for this opportunity to share my creativity with you all using goodies as a part of the Hero Arts Global Team!

Lisa Tilson

Hello everyone! I am Lisa Tilson and I blog over at My Card Trip. I live in the beautiful county of Somerset in England. The City of Bath is just under an hour away and I consider myself very lucky to live in such a beautiful and historic part of the country. I live with my partner Paul who I have spent the last 20 years of my life with. I discovered cardmaking about ten or so years ago when I was looking for a hobby to fill some time. I started with a card kit that I bought in a department store, and then began going to craft fairs and buying cardmaking magazines. About 3 or 4 years in, I discovered Kristina Werner and then Jennifer McGuire and never really looked back after that! I was honoured to be a guest on Jennifer's YouTube channel a few years ago (a highlight for sure!) My style is sometimes quite clean and simple but I have been known on many occasions to cover my cards completely with lots of colour and I never mind getting my hands a little dirty in the process. I love to learn new techniques so take classes when I can, and let’s face it, it’s just another excuse to buy all the things isn't it?! I was thrilled to be asked to join the Hero Arts Global Team and I really look forward to sharing my projects with you.

Lounon

Hello everyone! I am Lounon and like a lot of you I am a craft addict! I am French but currently live in Morocco. I started cardmaking in 2019 and it was love at first craft! I find it a great way to express my creativity. I love everything relating to papercraft : stamping, die cutting, stenciling….I love coloring with different media but I must admit I have a soft spot for alcohol markers. May the craft be with you!

Michelle Lupton

Hello from Australia! My name is Michelle Lupton, and I have been a crafter for a long time - after trying out lots of different crafts (such as folk painting, long stitch, jewellery making, sewing soft toys, and calligraphy), card making stuck. I was a science teacher in a former life, and my first stamps were "good work" stamps to stamp onto students' work. I still own my first Hero Arts stamp! I have blogged about my cards since 2011 at Handmade by Michelle, shortly after which I discovered the wonderful worldwide community of stampers and card-makers out there! My style has evolved over the years, but right now, I love stamping, along with rainbows, watercolouring, flowers, stencils, and the colour blue (and the oxford comma – certified nerd, right here). I’m a CAS card-maker at heart, with not-so-occasional forays into not-so-clean and definitely-not-simple.
