Hot Foiled and Ink Blended Background
Jennifer Kotas

Hello! Jen Kotas here today. I’m sharing a card created using the February Clear Set and Dies with a foiled and inked background. The foil I’m using today is basically transparent creating a subtle shine. It adds elegance to a simple card.

1. Hot foil the Vine Hot Foil Plate with Opal Hot Foil Roll on a half sheet of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. Gently rub panel with a cloth to remove ink from foiling.
2. Die cut foiled panel with the second largest Nesting Rectangle Infinity Die then blend on Blue Raspberry Reactive Ink from the bottom. Switch to Pool Party Reactive Ink and fade to almost white at top of panel.
3. Stamp the images from the February Clear Set and Dies. Color with alcohol markers and cut out with coordinating dies.

4. Stamp the sentiment using Blue Raspberry Reactive Ink and cut out with coordinating die. Cut three extras and adhere together with Precision Glue XL.
5. Die cut the Scalloped Rectangles Infinity Die with a slightly smaller Nesting Rectangle Infinity Die.
6. Add foiled panel to an A2 card base then adhere stamped images and frame with thin foam squares. Add sentiment with Precision Glue XL.

I originally colored the flower pot a different color but I think it looks better with just the pop of yellow. Thanks for visiting!
