Two Takes: Floral Love with Dana and Pam
Good morning everyone. It's Dana and Pam with you today sharing cards made with the Floral Love stamp set and coordinating Floral Love Frame Cuts. We had so much fun creating our take on this stamp set. Working with the 2021 Pantone Colors Of The Year of gray and yellow, Pam and I set out on a path of creating our cards.
The first card the main focus was set on the beautiful love letters from the stamp set. Dana stamped the letters in Butter Bar ink onto Dove White Cardstock. The letters were then sprinkled with Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder and heat set. Using the coordinating dies, each letter was cut out and placed aside for later.
Working on the card base was next. Again, using the 2021 Pantone Colors Of The Year, Dana stamped the delicate heart stamp in Soft Granite ink across the center of the panel. Using one of the sentiments from the set, Dana stamped the sentiment across the heart and heat set it in White Detail Embossing Powder. For added interest, a white gelli roll pen was used to add faux stitching to the top and bottom of this panel.
Now it was time to pull this card together. Dana adhered the gray card panel to Mustard Cardstock and then to a Dove White Side Folded Card. For added dimension, each letter was popped up with foam tape surrounding the beautiful sentiment and middle heart.
Next up is Pam who was inspired to create a tag and card with the Floral Love Stamp Set. First up, the tag...
Pam stamped the Abstract Linocuts Bold Prints background onto Pebble cardstock with Soft Granite ink. After cleaning stamp, she repeated the step with Lemon Drop Reactive Ink onto Canary cardstock. Pam then die cut both stamped cardstock pieces using the largest of the Tag Infinity Dies. An additional die cut was created with Canary cardstock.
Pam created the tag by arranging the letters L, O, V and E from the Floral Love Frame Cuts onto the gray tag and die cutting them. The letters were put aside to be used later for the card.
Next, Pam placed the gray tag onto a stamping tool. She inlaid the coordinating Floral Love stamps into the letters. She closed the door to the stamping tool to grab the stamps and re-opened it.
Pam removed the gray tag and placed the plain Canary tag in its place. The stamps were inked with Lemon Drop and stamped onto the tag.
Pam adhered the gray tag onto the yellow tag with precision glue and stamped the sentiment with Intense Black ink. A die cut yellow reinforcement included in the Tag Infinity Die Set and ribbon were added to complete the tag.
Now for Pam’s Love Tag Card. It came together very quickly. First, the sentiment was stamped onto the yellow tag in Soft Granite Ink.
The gray die cut letters L, O, V and E were popped onto the tag for a bit of dimension. A gray reinforcement die cut from the Tag Infinity Die Set was added to the tag.
Pam adhered the tag onto an A2 Pebble cardstock card base. Two Sunset Hero Hues Enamel Dots completed the card.
Dana and Pam hope you have enjoyed their projects today. The Floral Love stamp set and coordinating Frame Cuts also work well with other Hero Arts sets.
Dana and Pam were inspired by the Pantone Color(s) of the year. It is said the colors represent “optimism, vivacity, steadiness and resilience.” That is their wish for our awesome crafty community in 2021.

Beautiful work Ladies! I love both the cards and the tag Dana and Pam.
The new Pantone Colors of the year ate gorgeous, they suits each other so good, I didn’t know that the represent optimism, vivacity, steadiness and resilience, I’m not only wish that to them too but to the whole world, I think we all need this.
