Heart Burst Stencil with Two-Tone Metallic Sprays
Hello crafty friends, it is Creative Team member Natasha Vacca on the blog and I am excited to be back today sharing an idea using the new Heart Burst Stencil with Two-Tone Metallic Sprays! So let's get started!
I started with a piece of Luxe White Watercolor Paper, the Heart Burst Stencil, and three colors of Hero Arts Two-Tone Sprays (Bright Yellow and Copper, Ocean Blue and Gold, and Fuchsia and Gold). I placed the stencil on top of the Luxe White Watercolor Paper, I held the paper in place with a piece of washi tape. I then added the sprays one at a time. The colors are truly so bold and beautiful, they are so easy to layer together. I then removed the stencil and set the panel aside to dry. I then washed my stencil and set it aside. Once dry, I used the Nested Rectangles Infinity Dies to trim the panel.
Next I used another piece of Luxe White Watercolor Paper and used the three colors of Two-Tone Sprays I shared above and added color to the paper. I allowed the panel to dry and then die cut a heart using the Nesting Heart Infinity Dies. I die cut three hearts using Dove White cardstock and then also the sprayed panel. I adhered all four hearts together using Precision Glue. I use Hero Tweezers to help me adhere all the heart layers together. I also die cut five more hearts, two were using the leftovers from my sprayed panel, as well as three more from Pitch Black cardstock. Next I used two colors of Hero Arts Iridescent Embossing powder on the hearts – I used Iridescent Blue and and Iridescent Gold. I applied Embossing and Watermark Ink to each of the hearts by placing the paper onto the ink pad, then added the embossing powder and heat set.
Next I used the die from the new I Love You Stamp & Cut XL set. I die cut it two times on Dove White cardstock and one time using Pitch Black cardstock. I adhered the layers together using Precision Glue. I then added Iridescent Gold embossing powder to my die cut letters and heart using Embossing and Watermark Ink. I completed my card by adhering all the pieces together using Precision Glue.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I will be back soon!
