Happiest of Holidays
It won’t be long before the holidays are here and it’s never too early to start on those holiday cards! So today I decided to get a jump start on my holiday cards and play along with our new Holiday Cardmaking Challenge.
I created a scene on a circle of white cardstock using the Color Layering Snowy Trees stamp set. First, I stamped the base layer of each tree with Green Ombré Ink and then the top snowy layer with Unicorn Pigment Ink. Once the trees were dry, I stamped the deer using Cup O' Joe Mid-Tone Shadow Ink. The layers of the white pigment ink show through the deer, making it appear like the deer is nestled in the trees.
I mounted the scene circle onto a Blush Folded Card that was stamped with the Blizzards Bold Prints in Red Royal Mid-Tone Shadow Ink.
To finish off the card, I added a small message, some Ranger Crystal Stickles to the trees and ground and a scattering of iridescent sequins.
Hope this card inspires you to get a jump on your holiday cards. Don’t forget to enter them in our Holiday Challenge for a chance to win one of five $50 shopping sprees!
