Hands Of Hope - Unity Collection
Good morning everyone. It's Dana here with you today sharing a new release from the Unity Collection called Hands Of Hope. This beautiful die makes wonderful cards for you to give to family and friends.
To create my card I started off with a piece of Meadow cardstock trimmed down to 4" x 5.25". I placed one of the Nesting Oval Infinity Dies on the cardstock and placed one of the Hands Of Hope dies in the middle of the oval. Running this through my die cutting machine I was able to get two cuts in one pass. I removed the dies and set the oval aside so I could work on my background panel.
For added interest, I pulled out my Line & Dot Pattern Bold Prints cling stamp. I stamped this image onto the background panel with embossing ink. Now it was time to work on the hands you see on the top panel.
Using the Hands Of Hope dies (there are two in this set), I die cut from a piece of Dove White cardstock. Using Copic makers I colored in each of the hands. Now it was time to emboss the sentiment. I glued the hands to the oval first. I stamped a sentiment from the Power To The People stamp set and a small heart for the Kids United stamp set with embossing ink and heat set it with white embossing powder.
I adhered the large green panel to a dove white card base. Next I inlayed the Hands Of Hope Oval die cut. For added interest, I used a white gelli roll pen to add dots and dashes around the oval. I finished my card off with a few clear enamel dots.
We can't wait to see what you will create with the new Hands of Hope dies. Have a great day everyone.
