Friend Friday with Chameleon – Week 4
Hello and welcome to our fourth and final Friend Friday with Chameleon! We have had so much fun using these fabulous markers this month. Be sure to head over to their blog, where the Chameleon design team is coloring Hero Arts images, too! And of course there are prizes – keep reading to the end of this post for more information. Now let’s join Libby as she shares her creation using the amazing Chameleon pens!
Hello hello! I’m thrilled to be joining you today for our “Friend Friday” post, using Chameleon markers! These pens are new to me, so I’m still getting the hang of it. But I am loving it!! They make color gradation and blending so easy! For my card, I thought it would be fun to make a celebration card. I have some party animals ringing in the new year!
I used my favorite little bunny from Hipster Animals and his matching die. The Chameleon colors I used were CG8 Cool Gray and PK3 Bubble Gum on the bunny, as well as BL3 Sky Blue on the drink. The little martini glass and message are from the Cocktail Party stamp and die set. I popped up a few of the bunnies and drinks with foam tape for added dimension (and fun!).
I added just a touch of glitter glue to the glasses as well as black Glaze pen to the bunny’s eyes – a detail that shows more in person than I could capture in the photos. I love the ombre effect on the banner – it was so easy to create using these markers! That banner is from the November My Monthly Hero add-on stamp and cut set Little Messages, I use this die all the time!
Please be sure to visit the Chameleon website for more information, videos and inspiration. Today two fabulous designers, Olesya Kharkova and Cathy Andronicou, are creating with Hero Arts stamps. Head over to the Chameleon blog to check out their projects, and comment for a chance to win markers as well as some Hero Arts stamps!
Do you have any special plans for ringing in the new year? Let us know in a comments below, and we’ll enter you for a chance to win a $25 gift card card to the Hero Arts store! Winners will be announced in January.
For me, New Year’s Eve will be a low key family game night with my kids – no party animals in this house these days. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
