Flourish Valentine

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing an easy card featuring the Heart Flourish Cover Plate. This die makes it so easy to create an intricate background. Here I used it to cut an ink-blended panel but it would be just as lovely to cut colored cardstock or patterned paper!

I started off by using large blending brushes to blend Taffy, Berry Smoothie, and Grape Slush Reactive Inks over a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Dove White cardstock. I used the cover plate to cut the panel and then glued it to a 4.25" x 5.5" Dove White Top Folded Card.

Next, I used the Love and Florals Fancy Dies to cut the large white letters from Dove White cardstock. I used foam tape to adhere the letters to the background, and then I glued on a smaller sentiment, stamped and die cut made using the You're Mine Bundle.

Thank you so much for visiting!
