Finding Strength in Subtle Dies
Hello there! Thank you for joining us at Hero Arts. We are so happy you are here!
Today, I am sharing how I used a subtle Sunburst Fancy Die to create a strong design path. It is not difficult and it is a great way to liven up solid cardstock.
The Sunburst Fancy Dies are a set of 4 comprised of a triangle burst, 2 small accent dies and the die I used today, a half circle burst. I began by die cutting several times into an A2 panel of the Pool Mix Layering Papers. I started with the snaked shape at the top right on the card.
Create the first cut and then add on to either end changing the orientation of the die to make "S" turns and curves. I aligned them by nesting the last die cut line with the first ridge in the die. Once locked together, secure with a light tack tape like washi or micropore. Then die cut. Fill in empty space with half or quarter circles.
Once all die cuts were complete I trimmed the panel and created a mat with a Crimson Bold Ink and adhered both to a Snow Folded Card. I then Crimson stamped and white heat embossed a few Snarky Mix & Match Messages to complete a card for that one friend/family member we all seem to have that is prone to issues in the oddest ways. Gotta love 'em! Add a few iridescent sequins, if you must (and I do!).
The newest Hero Arts My Monthly Hero reveals will begin soon here on the blog. Be on the look out. You don't want to miss this!

These dies are so cool, and if you need a quick card, this would be great.
