Hello crafty friends, it's Natasha Vacca here today! I am excited to be sharing a mixed media style card!  For today's card I used the beautiful Festive Pattern Bold Prints stamp as my focal image. Let's get started!

I started with a piece of Pitch Black cardstock. I prepped the surface with my anti- static powder tool then inked up the Festive Pattern Bold Prints stamp with Embossing & Watermark Ink. I stamped the background a couple of times, then added Iridescent Embossing powder in both Green and Gold. I added one color at a time, then tapped the excess off into a coffee filter. I repeated this process with both colors, then heat set the background using my heat tool. Once the background was complete, I trimmed the background using the Nesting Rectangle Infinity Die set.

Next I die cut the butterflies using the Delicate Butterfly and the Butterfly Foliage Fancy Dies. I die cut each butterfly two times using Dove White cardstock. Once everything was die cut, I adhered the butterfly layers together using Precision Glue.

Next I added ink blending using Core Inks on the butterflies. I used the following colors with a Small Blending Brush: Arcitc, Paradise, Moss, and Stone Wash.  Once the ink blending was complete, I added Hero Wax in Gold and Wintergreen to the large butterflies for added texture. I also added Espresso Core Ink to the edges of the butterflies.

I adhered the background panel onto a top folding card base using Precision Glue. I then added a small piece of cheesecloth from my stash onto the card panel. I adhered the butterflies using a combination of liquid glue and foam tape. I completed the card using a birthday sentiment from the Everyday Sentiment Strips set.

I had a lot of fun putting today's card together! I hope this inspires you to get inky!
