It's time for our second February countdown peek of this month's My Monthly Hero Kit! The kit will be available on Monday, February 4th at 1pm Eastern/10am Pacific. Now let’s join Michelle, who is sharing another look at this wonderful kit!
What a fabulous kit! I love the Art Deco feel to it and I think its great for lots of different occasions. For my card, I took the lady in the hat holding a martini image from the main stamp set and stamped this on to a panel of white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I coloured her with Copic Markers, adding some shading around her for added interest.
I then took the 'cheers!' sentiment from the Deco Celebration set, which is an add-on set this month, and stamped this beside the image with the same black ink. To ground the image, I took a thin black strip of black cardstock and cut the end at an angle. This was added to the panel with liquid glue and then the panel was added to an A2 white card base.

I love the simplicity of this card. It allows the focus to be on the image and the fabulous coloring!
Your copic coloring is fab. What did you use for her wrap? It looks like it has some sparkle. The Art Deco design is something new to me.
The image reminds me of the red hat ladies. That is really dating me I guess but classy ladie.
