Eat Cake All Day!
Hello! Are you all having so much fun with the new Summer Catalog products?! Today I’m featuring the Scribble Bold Prints. I’ve teamed it up with the very cute, Eat Cake All Day Stamp & Cut.
The scribbles remind me of confetti so they make a great background for a birthday card. I stamped it with Tide Pool Mid-Tone Shadow Ink on a Pool Mix Layering Paper panel. I colored the monster in shades of pink with a contrasting yellow party hat. I wanted to color the cake in fun colors but decided to go with a traditional chocolate version. The images are nestled on a darker panel from the Pool Mix Layering Paper pack. It has been cut with the Circle Infinity Dies. If you haven’t checked out the Infinity Die collections, you really should. They are a must have for any crafter. Eat Cake All Day – love that sentiment, great for kids + adults.
I’m a big fan of adhesive foam squares. It adds fun dimensional interest to any card design.
I made this card especially for my older brother’s upcoming birthday. I wish that I had a huge stash of birthday cards but for some reason they aren’t my go-to card to design, how about you?
