Creating a Focal Point using Smaller Images

Hi everyone, Ilina here today with a clean and simple card using the new Color Layering Pomegranate set along with the coordinating Frame Cuts.

Pomegranates remind me of home (Macedonia) where we have them in abundance and my uncle (an artist) always painted them. In my condo I always had paintings of pomegranates hanging on the walls. So, you may see the reason why I decided to use this set.

To make the card I started by stamping the outline images using Intense Black Ink on alcohol friendly card white card stock. I didn't use the layering stamps, but decided to color the images using Copic markers (you can use any coloring medium of your choice).

Once I was done with the coloring I die cut them and set them aside.

Die cut a Branch Wreath from Kraft paper. Stamp sentiment onto black card stock using Versamark ink and emboss with White embossing powder. Die cut with a Circle Infinity Die to fit inside of the wreath.

Next, use the Woodgrain Texture Fancy Die to dry emboss piece of snow card stock and trim it to 4"x 5 1/4", adhere all the elements created above and add a few Champagne sequins. Adhere to a black folded note card using foam adhesive or fun foam piece.

Thank you so much for stopping by and hope you are inspired to do something creative!
