Creating An Alcohol Ink Tag Focal Point

Hello there, Michelle here and today I am using the new Otter Family Stamp & Cut. What an adorable set! I thought it would be fun to create an alcohol ink background for my little guy to swim in.

Otterly Amazing by Michelle Short for Hero Arts

I started off with a piece of Yupo paper and applied Copic Refill ink on to the piece in three blue shades. I then applied some air using an air spritzer tool to move the ink around. Once dry, I cut the piece using the second largest of the Tag Infinity Dies. I also cut the topper piece from white cardstock. While my die cutting machine was out, I took the Spiral Stencil and embossed this on to a white card base.

I took the larger of the otters from the Otter Family Stamp & Cut and stamped this on to white cardstock using Intense Black Ink. The image was coloured using Copic Markers and then I fussy cut the image out. The set does comes with the die but it's on it's way to me, so I opted to fussy cut. The tag was added to the card with foam tape and then the otter on top with more foam. I took the sentiment from the set, stamped this using Versamark Ink on to black cardstock and applied white embossing powder. I then heat set, cut in to a strip and added this on to the card with more foam tape. To finish off, I added a few Ombre Ocean Sequins.

Thank you so much for popping by today, happy stamping!
