CommUNITY Inspiration from Pam

Sep 18, 2024 Pocono Pam

Hi friends. Pocono Pam back with you again today with an installment of our monthly series, CommUNITY. CommUNITY is about embracing and honoring the creativity of individuals who are often underrepresented. By sharing art from a diverse group of creators, we hope to not only bring inspiration to this papercrafting community we all love so much, but also support and empower individuals to be their authentic selves as they create and share.

I have been inspired by all of our past CommUNITY guests and wanted to share a few cards I created with Unity Collection products.

For my first card, I used United People Bold Prints to create a 3-panel card. The diverse faces on the stamp makes it one of my faves!

I adhered a 4" x 5.25" Copper Glitter Cardstock panel onto an A2 card base. I then inked United People Bold Prints with Berry Smoothie, Green Apple, Creamsicle and Lemon Drop; spritzed lightly with water and stamped it onto a 3.5" x 4.5" Dove White cardstock panel.

I cut the panel into three 1.5" pieces and adhered them to a Pitch Black panel measuring 3.75" x 5". I stamped a sentiment from Together Stamp & Cut; matted with black cardstock and adhered to the card front with foam tape for dimension. I sprinkled on a few sequins to complete the card.

For my second card, I stamped Positive Script Bold Prints in Pitch Black onto a 4" x 5.25" white panel; matted in Pitch Black and adhered it to an A2 card base.

To continue, I pulled out another favorite stamp of mine: American Women. When I initially started crafting and card making, I purchased Hero Arts wooden stamps. They will always have a special place in my crafty heart!

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the image and adhered it to the card front. I then stamped and fussy cut sentiments from the Textured Compliments clear stamp set and adhered them to the card front. I sprinkled on a few sequins to complete the card.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope I have inspired you to create with products from the Hero Arts Unity Collection.
