Colorful Garden Window
Hello, friends! It’s Channin here to share a bright and colorful card that I created with the Window on the Garden Fancy Die and the Color Layering Mountains at the Lake stamp set. I combine several simple techniques (stamping, ink blending and Copic coloring) to build a rich and dimensional scene!
To create this card I first die cut an A2 panel (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) of white cardstock with the Window on the Garden Fancy Die. I then Copic colored all the foliage.
Next, I positioned the first stamp for mountains from the Color Layering Mountains at the Lake stamp set in a MISTI then stamped it in Green Apple Reactive Ink onto the front of an A2 top folding card base. I then positioned the detail layer for the mountains and stamped it in Pine. I then created a mask for the mountains and ink blended a sky with several Reactive Inks (Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, Taffy and Grape Slush). Next, I masked off under the mountains and ink blended the water with Splash and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks.
I then added foam tape to the back side of the panel and adhered it to the front of the card base. Next, I stamped a sentiment onto black cardstock in embossing ink and heat embossed it in white. I then trimmed it down with scissors and lastly adhered it to the card with foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card! Thank you so much for stopping by!

What a beautiful scene out of your window. It reminds me of all the wonderful photos people have taken and posted on the “View from my Window” Facebook group during this lockdown situation across the whole world.
