Color Week: Core Ink Blends
Good morning! Jess here with some ink blends featuring a few of our brand new Core Inks! If you know me you know I love ink blending and couldn't resist trying out some new color combos with the Core Inks!
From left to right my ink blends are (new inks in CAPS):
I decided to use the all new Antique Ivory, Mist, and Espresso combo to create a soft and subtle blend for today's card.
I used Medium Ink Blending Brushes to softly blend Espresso, Antique Ivory, and Mist Core Inks onto a panel of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. The three colors kind of represent an abstract shoreline with the sand, crashing waves, and water! Once the ink was dry I stamped a sentiment from Message in a Bottle with Onyx Pigment Ink and heat embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder.
Then I die-cut the Beach Frame Fancy Die from Pitch Black Cardstock and adhered it over my blended panel. To finish the card I adhered it to a Hero Hues Top Folded Card Base. Espresso can be a bold color but with a light hand it can also be part of a really soft and pretty blend!
I hope this post inspires you to do a little ink blending with your Core Inks and discover some fun new combos. Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
