Christmas Card with Galaxy Background
Inspired by the fabulous Yana Smakula's work, I created a fun Christmas card with galaxy background.
I started by coloring a piece watercolor paper with watercolors to create a galaxy background. After drying my watercolor background, I added some white/gold splatters to add some interest.
I heat embossed the lights bold image from Christmas Lights Bold Prints with gold embossing powder. Then I adhered my watercolor panel on the A2 size top folding white card base using 3M foam tape to give some dimension.
I die cut letters JOY twice out of red/gold cardstock using Luggage Tag Alphabet Frame Cuts and mounted them on the card front using foam tape.
I stamped the sentiment from Peace Stamp & Cut on a piece of white cardstock with Intense Black Ink and mounted the sentiment strip between die-cut letters.
I'm sharing a behind-the-scenes video on my blog. Make sure to check it out HERE. That's all for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
