Build Your Own Greetings
I probably send out more birthday cards than anything else, but with an alphabet you can send any greeting you wish.
I love how versatile alphabet dies (and stamps!) can be. I was recently making a birthday card with this technique, then thought I should make some Easter cards for my grandkids, too. EASY. Just take every scrap of paper you own and start die-cutting with our Luggage Tag Alphabet dies. Add extra pizazz with sparkle paper or pre-printed papers or foils.
You can stitch the letters on the card (you know how much I love stitching!) or “inlay” them. First, die cut the greeting on white.
Back with yellow.
Then fill in the letter "holes" with your die cut letters. And of course there is always foam mounting them for depth, if you want your message to be raised above the paper.
So start saving those small scraps, especially sparkles and foils, and have some fun with this easy technique!

So love this idea Sally! Added the alphabet dies to my Hero Arts Wish list. Looking forward to doing something with my “little scraps” of special paper.

Great dies. I like this idea and it’s hard to find that right side so it all fits. This set look perfect. Great cards.

Hi Henriëtte – The die cut letters measure 7/8" tall. The width varies depending on the letter. Most of them are around 1/2" wide. Hope that helps!

So excited. I recently purchased a Sizzix alphabet set at a resale shop and now you have inspired me to put it to good use.
