Bone-afide Romance
Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here. I am happy you have stopped by today as I will be sharing two cards I created with products from September's Extraordinary Extras: Halloween Words Stencil and Haunted Romance Fancy Dies. Skeletons are a bone-afide blast at Halloween time because they bring a playful spookiness to the season!
For my first card I blended Pitch Black ink onto a Cranberry cardstock panel and cut it down to 4" x 5.25". Next, I stenciled Halloween Words onto the panel with Unicorn White ink. I die-cut a heart in the center of the panel with a Heart Infinity Die.
To continue, I adhered the panel onto Pitch Black cardstock of the same size. I then glued the new panel onto an A2 card base.
I die-cut two skulls and two roses from Haunted Romance Fancy Dies in white, red and green. I then assembled and arranged them onto the card front, placing a small die-cut heart between the skeletons.
I stamped a sentiment from another September Extraordinary Extra: Halloween Messages onto white cardstock in Pitch Black ink; trimmed and adhered it to the card front. To complete the card I added Black Enamel Dots.
For my second card, I re-created the same panel as my first card to include the negative die-cut heart in the center. I adhered the panel to an A2 card base. I added Pitch Black ink onto the I die-cut heart and stacked it onto six additional hearts.
I die-cut a skeleton, rose and bats from Haunted Romance Fancy Dies in white, red, green and black cardstock. I then assembled and arranged them onto the heart stack and glued it into the negative heart space adding dimension to the card front.
Like my first card, I stamped a sentiment from Halloween Messages onto white cardstock in Pitch Black ink; trimmed and adhered it to the card front. To complete the card I added Black Enamel Dots.
Whether they are lurking in haunted houses or part of your crafty creations, skeletons are the backbone of Halloween fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an amazing rest of your day!
I’m loving these cards! They are funny and very much capture the spirit of Halloween. Thanks Pam! 🎃 🧙🏼♀️ 🐈⬛
