Awesome Add-ons: November Edition
Hello stampers! We’re back with our Awesome Add-ons feature for this month. Here’s a look at all twelve of the add-on products that were introduced along with the November kit on Monday -- four 4x6″ clear sets, two 6x6" Bold Prints backgrounds, several dies, and finally one stencil. Lots of fun and versatile options this month, whether you pair these goodies with the kit or use them separately!

Today our Creative Team is going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for a few of the add-ons. First up is Clare with a gorgeous pair of cards.
Clare: One of the things I love about the Winter Animals set is how well it works with so many other stamp sets. For my duo today, I combined the animals with some trees from Winter Silhouettes.
Both cards feature a watercolor background I made using Distress Inks, made to look like the Northern Lights....despite the fact that penguins are from the Southern Hemisphere. ;)
For my first card, I stamped the penguins and trees in Navy, and then did some partial die cutting with the Circle Infinity dies. This allowed me to place my background and some sequins behind the opening, to create a shaker card.
ETA: I used the same technique shown in THIS video to partially die cut the circle. After the circle was cut, I went in and hand trimmed around the trees and penguins.
The sentiment was stamped from Santa's Door Accessories.
For the second card, I kept it almost one layer. I masked the polar bears, using the coordinating die cuts to create the masks, and then watercolored on top. I lightly drew a circle using the Circle Infinity dies to give myself a rough guide, but if you wanted a crisper line, then you could make a mask with the dies.
I stamped the trees once the background had finished drying, as well as the sentiment.
I finished off both cards with a strip of navy to the bottom or side of the card.
Jess is up next with some die-cut tag goodness!
Jess: I've been in a bit of a tag mood these days as I start holiday prep and I decided to use the Snowflake Tag Fancy Die to create some clean and simple tags!
I love adding handmade tags to my Christmas gifts but it generally requires making A LOT of tags so I try to come up with a few ideas that are easily mass-produced each year! I actually made 20 tags using a similar design and simply changed the color cardstock or embossing powder that I used to create different versions! I started by die-cutting the Snowflake Tag Fancy Die from white cardstock and then I cut it in half.
Then I die-cut the tag from the Tag Infinity Dies with dark blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment and snowflake from the November My Monthly Hero kit and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Finally I adhered the snowflake with foam mounting tape and added a little silver twine to finish the tags!
We hope you enjoyed today’s projects and thank you for stopping by for a peek. Look for even more November add-on inspiration in the coming days and weeks!
These are stunning! Love your glowing skies!
Gorgeous card and tags. Watched your video on partial die cutting and can’t wait to try it. Thanks for sharing this awesome technique.
