Today Creative Team member Ilina Crouse is going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for a few of the add-ons. Take it away, Ilina...

Hi everyone, I hope you enjoyed all the countdown post last weekend and the new add-on items this month. I think this month's release is one of my favorites. So, for today I have two cards using several of the new products.

For my first card I used a couple new sets: Food Puns and Smile Stamp & Cut along with the new Alphabet Window Fancy Die. To make my card I started by stamping the latte image onto alcohol marker friendly white card stock using Intense Black ink. Next, I colored it with Copic and Marvy Uchida alcohol markers, cut it out and set it aside. I cut the "smile" die cut three times from Snow Layering Paper and sprayed the first one (the one that will be on top) with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray (also a new product this month). Once dry I adhered all three die cuts together to create more dimensional look. I cut a strip from Pool Layering Paper and stamped "every day" using Versamark ink and embossed with the new White Detail Embossing Powder.

I die cut the Alphabet Window Fancy Die from the lightest hue of the Pool Layering Papers and sprayed with the White Iridescent Shimmer Spray and set it aside to dry. In meantime I die cut a circle from Vellum using the Circle Infinity Dies to match the circle window on the Alphabet Fancy Window die. Once everything was dry I assembled my card using a Pool Mix Folded Notecard and added Ombre Ocean Sequins.

For my second card , again I used several new products: Hand Drawn Everyday Messages, Everyday Icons and the Smile Stamp & Cut (for the "&") along with the Bold Graphic Confetti Die. I started by stamping the elements from the Everyday Icons set with Intense Black ink and colored them with Copic markers. Next on Black paper (Midnight mix) I stamped "sending hugs & smiles" with Versamark ink and embossed with Detailed White Embossing Powder. You will notice that "hugs" appears to be behind "& smiles". In order to do this first I stamped and embossed "sending & smiles", then masked it off and stamped "hugs" then embossed.

I die cut the sentiment using one of the Circle Infinity Dies and trimmed off on the side. In the meantime I applied Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen on the icons and let it dry while I was working on the rest of the card. I die cut the the Graphic Confetti Fancy Die from Sunshine Layering Paper and then cut only a strip from it. I cut a thin strip from Black Layering Paper (Midnight mix).

Once I had all elements ready I assembled my card onto a Sunshine Mix Folded Notecard (light yellow) and added few Ombre Sunshine Sequins.

Hope you are enjoying the new release and all the inspiration provided today and the past few days and that you are inspired to do something creative today. Happy crafting!

Thank you Ilina, for the inspiration!
