Awesome Add-Ons: February Edition
Hi stampers, it’s time for this month’s Awesome Add-ons feature! Before we fly into the project inspiration, here’s a bird's eye view of the add-on products that were introduced along with the February kit on Monday -- 3 clear stamp sets, 2 coordinating Frame Cut sets, 2 Stamp & Cut sets, 2 Bold Prints background stamps, 2 Fancy Dies, 1 Paper Layering Die, and 1 woodblock stamp. A flock of terrific options for projects of all kinds!

Today Creative Team members Clare and Amy are going to share some fabulous “beyond the kit” ideas for a few of the add-ons.
Clare: I started by stamping a pattern using the nest from A Little Birdie Told Me in Wet Cement on the awesome new Classic Vellum Layering Paper. (Available in our shop 2/15!) After heat setting the nests so that the ink wouldn't smudge, I stamped two of the birds in Red Ombre over the pattern. I heat set this as well, and then folded the vellum panel over my card base.
The vellum is so cool and thick - I discovered on a later project that my Scotch tape adhesive wasn't visible behind the vellum, so you might actually be able to directly adhere your vellum down, depending on your adhesive.
I then heat embossed the sentiment in White on Black cardstock, and then die cut it using two Tag Frames Infinity Dies. I adhered the outer cut directly on the card base, and then popped the second one up with some foam adhesive. I topped it off with two pearls.
Lastly, I stamped the flying bird in Red Ombre on some Blush Layering paper, trimmed it out and adhered it to the base.
Would you believe Amy stamped hundreds of birds on this next card? It's true! :)
Amy: I'm just amazed at some of the details that this month's stamps have. Check out the Starling On Branch:
I stamped it on a white Heart Tag in Chalkboard Mid-Tone Shadow Ink. The Swirl of Starlings Bold Prints was stamped on a Snow panel with Wet Cement Mid-Tone Shadow Ink.
The sentiment is from the Come Fly With Me set. For a pop of color, I added some quick watercolor smooshing and coordinating enamel dots from my stash.
We hope you enjoyed today’s projects featuring just a few of the February add-ons.
