Today we're delighted to be able to share a trio of wonderful projects created by Debi Adams.

Hi friends! Debi Adams here and as always, I am happy to be showcasing some of the new My Monthly Hero Kit add-ons for December. So what in the “world” is happening at Hero? Well look how lucky I was to get to play with these fabulous designs.

This first card features a world view and is titled, Architectural Wonders of the World. I love all the little details that are incorporated into this image. The truth is, this stamp would look great just in black and white with no coloring at all, that’s how nice the artwork is!

For this next card I kind of had this crazy idea to stamp the Wonders of the World Bold Print onto a white card base and then stamp it three more times onto light blue, deep blue and green cardstock, die-cutting concentric circles from them, ah, but then I got another idea. Does that happen to you too? Anyway, after stamping the image on the white card base, I used the World Window Fancy Die on the stamped green cardstock to make this look like a globe and then I die-cut the stamped images using the Nesting Circle Infinity Dies from the blue cardstock. I layered them together and using a little bit of a light blue Copic marker, I accentuated some areas. It was fun and different. Again, minimal coloring but big on artistic imagery by the Hero Arts designers.

Changing it up a bit is this Universal Woman card. I knew the minute I saw it, it needed an ethereal presentation and what better application than watercolors and a little bit of a glitter glue? By the way, if you haven’t tried the Daniel Smith Watercolor Dot Palette, now is the time! This is the perfectly, imperfect opportunity to try it out. You don’t have to be a watercolor artist to feel successful. I used it on the background and then colored Universal Woman with Copic markers. A little bit of stitchery finished off the card.

So there you have it. Do you have a favorite? Bet you can create something “out of this world”. Would love to see your work!

XO,
Debi Adams

Thanks for sharing your creative ideas! I think your second card is amazingly clever and if I received a card like that, would have to frame and hang for others to see. Really great use of combining the Wonders of the World stamp and World Window die!
