Today we have Kelly Rasmussen here to share some fabulous "beyond the kit" ideas for a few of the add-ons. Take it away, Kelly...
I just love the adorable images and delicate lines of the art in the Folk Animals stamp set. They are simple images that are easy to color, which is always a win for me!
After coloring all the images with alcohol markers and die-cutting them with the coordinating dies, I was so pleased with how everything nestled together so nicely to create a cute little scene.
I built the scene on a vellum circle with a gold embossed frame. And added a gold heat embossed sentiment from the same stamp set.
For the background I stamped the Abstract Criss Cross Bold Print with Dandelion Ink. And finished off the card with some gold accents using Gold Hero Pearls.
Next I used the awesome new Floral Trove Stencil, which is comprised of nine different abstract block patterns.
I created a simple and colorful background by ink blending each section with a different color of Reactive Ink. I'm looking forward to playing with this stencil more using Hero Pastes and Metallic Sprays!
The messages are from the popular Smile Friend Stamp & Cut XL from our Spring release.
