Autumnal Shimmer
Hello there, Michelle here sharing a card using the new Ginkgo Leaves Pattern Bold Prints. This stamp can be used in so many ways, but for today's card, I thought that I would add a lot of shimmer and shine in autumnal tones.
I started off my card by stamping Ginkgo Leaves Pattern Bold Prints onto a panel of watercolour paper using Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied Gold Embossing Powder and heat set. I took the panel to my splat box and spritzed with metallic sprays.
I first added a mist of water, followed by Red + Shimmer Tone-on-Tone Metallic Spray and Orange + Shimmer Tone-on-Tone Metallic Spray. I then added a little Bright Yellow + Copper Two-Tone Metallic Spray for even more shimmer before setting aside to dry.
Once dry, it was die cut using a Nesting Rectangle Infinity Die and adhered to an A2 card base made from Pitch Black cardstock. I die cut the sentiment from Hello There Stamp & Cut three times from Pitch Black cardstock, adhered them one on top of another and then onto the card using Precision Glue. To finish off, I die cut a heart from the spare background and adhered it on top.
Whilst Ginkgo leaves generally turn more of a yellow hue in autumn, I really love these warm autumnal tones! Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a wonderful day!
