April My Monthly Hero is Here! + a Giveaway!
We are excited to bring you the launch of our April My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons! Our Creative Team has had so much fun using these products this month and we think you will too! And at the end of this post you will find links to a blog hop that will provide plenty of inspiration using this month’s kit and add-ons.

We also have some terrific, optional add-on products this month — one stamp set, a Stamp & Cut set, 2 Paper Layering dies, 1 Fancy Die and a stencil. First, we have the You Are Fabulous stamp set. Does anyone else think Audrey Hepburn and classic elegance when they look at these images?
Next up is the Dress Up Stamp & Cut set. It reminds us of paper dolls with two adorable little girls and clothes to dress them up. Sally made several cards using this set that shows the versatility of the set.
To create a scene with the lovely ladies from the kit we bring you a Paper Layering Eiffel Tower die. There is so much detail in this die. Jess used it beautifully on the background of her countdown card.
You can create a ballerina with this next add-on, the Paper Layering Ballerina die.
What’s more fun than the Shopping Bag Fancy Eie? Sally used some patterned paper to create a shopping bag that is so pretty.
Lastly, this Diamond Stencil is large enough to work on many projects. Jayne used this stencil to create an interesting background on her countdown cards.
How about some more inspiration! Here’s a card from Creative Team member Jayne Nelson:
This month’s kit contains so many wonderful, fashion-inspired images, I had a hard time deciding which ones to ink up first! Eventually, I decided to pair a few sentiments with several beautiful women to make a fun card for a friend.
To make my card, I used some of the pink and Tiffany blue cardstock included in the kit to make a card base. Then, I stamped three women, with black ink, onto a panel of white layering paper. If you look closely, you can see that I created their matching dresses by stamping one of the dress stamps in the kit and then stamping over the dress with a cap-sleeved top. I colored the skirts with colored pencils and then added glitter to each skirt for some extra sparkle! I also applied ink to the top and bottom of the panel for additional color.
I finished the card with a partially embossed sentiment and a trio of black pearls. It’s fancy, feminine and fun!
Thanks Jayne!
