A Blog Named Hero - Sparkle Challenge

Hi crafting friends, it’s Linda from A Blog Named Hero, and this month we’re inviting you to get sparkly!

Sparkly can mean lots of things, so we’ll leave it up to your imagination as to how you’ll join in on this fun theme!

I wanted to do a combination of neutral and simple, with full-on-sparkle.

I took the Build a Tree stamp set, and created a wreath with Forever Green Mid-tone Shadow Ink. I then stamped a couple extra ‘sprigs’ and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then used Precision Glue to add dots of adhesive, and poured some of the delicious Icicle Pure White Glitter (but you could easily use the Snowfall too!)

For the sentiment I diecut a big ol’ Happy Message Fancy Die multiple times and layered them up, topping the top layer with more Icicle Pure White Glitter. I then attached that to my wreath panel and added the teensy ‘greetings’ tab (from the Color Layering Nordic Tree set). I then attached all of that to a Sand folded card.

I hope you like it! I love the combination of natural, textural Sand cardstock, with the super blingy glitter!

Be sure to join us on the blog, and enter in the challenge, for your chance to win one of two gift vouchers thanks to our sweet sponsors, Hero Arts!

Wishing all of you and your special loved ones, a very Merry Christmas.
