A Blog Named Hero - Hugs From a Distance

Hi everyone! Let's join our friends at A Blog Named Hero for their fun monthly challenge! Thanks to Linda for sharing her creation with us here!

Hello crafty friends! I hope you’re all well and safe. This month, A Blog Named Hero wanted to make the challenge theme, extra special for these difficult times. We’re challenging you to:

The style of your project is wide open, totally up to you! We just can’t wait to see what you make to send to your loved ones.

To make this card, I took 7 colours of the Hero Hues cardstock, and die-cut the word ‘happy’ using the Happy Message Fancy Die. I then layered them in rainbow order onto the black cardbase, and trimmed off any excess from the sides.

I then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, for which I used a partial embossing technique (only inking up part of the stamp) with a little sentiment from the lovely Cup of Love stamp set.

To finish the card, I simply added sequins, but you could use glitter or whatever suits you!

I do hope you like the card, I think we could all use a bit of happy right now!

You have plenty of time to enter the challenge, and thanks to our favourite people at Hero Arts, we have two gift vouchers up for grabs for two lucky winners!

We hope you’ll join us HERE.

Thanks for stopping by!
