Hello friends!! It’s Channin here and in today’s video I’m creating a picnic scene featuring several scene-building dies from the July My Monthly Hero Classic and Premium Kits. Watch to see how I incorporate colored cardstocks and a bit of Copic coloring to build a serene layered landscape.

To create this card I first die cut an A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") panel of Meadow cardstock with the Parklands Window Fancy Die included in the Classic and Premium kits. I then die cut a scrap of Lapis cardstock approximately 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" with the water Picnic Scenic Detail Fancy Die ( Premium ).
Next, I die cut an A2 panel of Dove White cardstock with a rectangle die from the Nesting Rectangle Infinity Dies to create a 4 1/4" x 3" window. I then die cut the picnic scene die from the scrap and Copic colored the chair frame. Next, I fussy cut the picnic blanket/chair/basket away from the rest of the scene and the negative openings between the basket handles and chair legs. Then with a Copic marker I colored a gingham pattern over the blanket.
Next, I die cut the basket out of Mustard cardstock, then cut out the negative space between the handles and then adhered the basket over the white one. I then die cut the picnic blanket again out of Dove White cardstock and fussy cut the dishes out and adhered them over the Copic colored blanket.
Next, I adhered an A2 panel of Mist cardstock to the front of an A2 top-folding white card base . I then stamped and white heat-embossed a sentiment onto the panel. I adhered the picnic scene to the Meadow panel and then the Dove White frame on top. Next, I adhered the water to the card front and then adhered the picnic/frame panel onto top with foam adhesive. I finished the card by adhering the remain portion of the chair with foam adhesive.
