Good morning! Jess here with a video featuring the new Color Layering Orca set and some bright and cheery ink blending for a fun ocean scene!
You can watch the video below or over on our YouTube channel . If you're having problems viewing the video please click HERE .
To start I stamped the layers of the Color Layering Orca with Charcoal , Intens-ified Black , and Contour Ink . I stamped two whales and die cut them with the coordinating Frame Cuts . Then I ink blended a background with Rose Madder , Cotton Candy , and Soft Vanilla ink.
Then I die-cut the Surf's Up Fancy Die from Periwinkle cardstock. I didn't run the bottom of the die design through my die-cutting machine so it created an extra big wave that practically covered my entire A2 panel. I used scissors to trim the end of the wave that wasn't cut with the die. Then I blended Cornflower , Deep Ocean , and Navy ink along the bottom of the wave and the bottom of the crest.
I die-cut the wave foam from Dove White cardstock and adhered it to the wave with Precision Liquid Glue . Then I adhered the wave to my blended background and added the whales. I stamped a sentiment from Color Layering Orca onto Pitch Black cardstock with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat-embossed it with White Embossing Powder . I finished the card by adding the sentiment with foam mounting tape.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful week!
