Good morning! Jess here with a fun shaped Halloween card using some of the newest products from Hero Arts!

To start I die-cut a piece of Pitch Black cardstock with the Arches Infinity Dies. I placed the new Art Deco Dancing Light Stencil over the panel and spritzed it liberally with Black + Shimmer Tone-on-Tone Metallic Spray. The spray dries very quickly so it's perfect for a stencil with lots of detail like this one! You don't end up with a lot of liquid pooling beneath the stencil. I peeled up the stencil and let the panel dry completely before adhering it to a card base. I love the kinda spooky Gothic feel of the design!
While it was drying I die-cut the Jack O' Lantern Fancy Dies and the Halloween Icons Fancy Dies from Pumpkin and Dove White cardstock. I added a little Copic shading to the pumpkins and colored my cat. I also trimmed a piece of Canary and Pitch Black cardstock to fit behind the face of the pumpkins and the eyes of the cat!

I die-cut the bat from Halloween Icons using black glitter paper from Glitter Paper Basics and stamped a sentiment from Halloween Peg Dolls with Embossing & Watermark Ink and heat-embossed it with Black Detail Embossing Powder. Once my panel was dry I adhered the pumpkins, bats, cat, and sentiment using a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and then added a layer of Crystal Lacquer over the pumpkins' faces and the cat's eyes!
I love the versatility of the Art Deco Dancing Light Stencil! I feel like it could easily be the background for a very elegant card but, as you can see, it also works well to create a spooky Halloween background. Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
