Today I've created two cards using a multi-colored inking technique with two new Bold Prints background cling stamps.
The first card uses the fun and bold Sunburst Flowers Bold Prints cling stamp. I inked the image using Thistle and Purple Galaxy Reactive Inks and stamped the image on white cardstock. Then I used those same two colors to lightly ink blend over the top, creating a beautiful tone-on-tone gradient background.
The message was diecut using the sentiment dies in the Hooray Birthday Cover Plate. You can use the negative or positive pieces of these messages making them versatile for many styles of celebration-themed cards!
Next up, I used the Bubble Celebration Bold Prints cling stamp along with Pool Party, Splash, and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks to create a multi-colored background. I love the delicate lines of this background stamp!
I decided to roll with the circles theme and use some of the cute little images in the Your Day Messages stamp set to create a cluster of messages and icons. I white heat embossed them on Paradise and Peacock cardstock, which are perfect match to the stamped background.
