Simple Thank You Window Card + Video

Hi everyone! Yana is here and today I’d like to share a simple Thank You card with a fun mini-window that also works as a locking mechanism for a card.

I love creating window cards and the minute I saw the new Stamp & Cut Flowers set from Hero Arts I knew what I was going to make.

If you are having problems viewing the video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.

I started by stamping a sentiment banner onto a card base created out of Sunshine Mixed Layering paper. I intentionally folded the yellow side in and left white on the outside. This is one of my favorite tricks when using Hero Arts papers.

Next I cut the sentiment out using a matching die and adhered that die cut back in place using foam adhesive.

I wanted to create a visual triangle around the sentiment so I stamped several clusters above and below the window and also at the bottom of the card. To give this card a bit of dimension I used foam adhesive and adhered several stamped and cut flowers on top.

Finally I embellished my card with a few red metallic dots and added drops of silver ink to the background.
