Hi everyone! It’s Tami and Lisa here, teaming up to bring you a double dose of baby card inspiration today!
Tami: “My daughter’s crib bedding included an elephant similar to the Hero Arts Baby Elephant, so this adorable stamp had my heart from the moment I saw it. I repeatedly stamped the elephant with three ink colors to create a clean and simple design. You could use various shades of pink, or an assortment of colors would be fun too! Add a bow behind the elephant’s ear for extra cuteness.”
Lisa: “Hello there! First off, I just gotta say that I love Tami’s card so much! I must admit that I let out a little squeal when I first saw it. :) For my card, I had fun playing with daubers. For the plaid strip, I inked the Drippy Lines Bold Print with daubers, gave it a light mist with water and stamped it. Then I did the same thing and stamped it in the other direction to make a plaid. Love doing that with these big 6×6 cling stamps and the Drippy Lines is especially great for this technique. I also used the same daubers as watercolors to tie it in — I just tapped them out on a non-porous surface, picked up color with a water brush and that was that. Some pearls, glitter paper and twine finished off the card.”
And there you go — two fun card designs you can easily create to welcome those sweet bundles of joy. Thanks so much for stopping by and happy stamping!
