New Copper Embossing Powder

Today I am sharing a card using the new Copper Embossing Powder, which is perfect for Fall cards. I started with a panel of white card stock and stamped the Branches Bold Prints background onto it with Versamark; I then added the embossing powder and heat set it. That panel was then die cut into a circle shape.

I wanted to layer the circle over a earth-toned card base, so I used some latte layering paper, which was cut to 3.5 x 5″; I also added some 1/2″ strips in the same color to the front. These strips were stamped with a dot image from the CL787 Holiday Petals and Leaves stamp set using Not Available ink.

The circle was trimmed horizontally for the space where I wanted to add the fall greetings sentiment, which seems to go perfectly with the embossed branches background. The sentiment stamps are also from the CL787 Holiday Petals and Leaves stamp set. To finish the card, I added a button and some twine from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by – have a great day!
