You guys! I’m just batty for the C6106 Moon and Bat stamp. You could even say that I’m over the moon for it. Here, let me show you. :)
To make this card, I started off by stamping the background with CG682 Dot Moire Bold Prints and AF249 Unicorn Pigment Ink Pad ink. Then I heat embossed it with my new favorite white — PW118 White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder.
Next, I punched a circle out of printer paper to use as a mask, keeping both the paper that I punched the circle from and the circle itself. I put some repositionable glue stick on both pieces and let it dry for about 30 seconds as per the directions.
Then I placed the paper that the circle was punched from down on some white cardstock and sponged on AF261 Lemon Yellow Mid-Tone Shadow Ink ink to make the moon. I let this dry really well — or you could zap it with a heat gun — and then I put the punched out circle over the moon to protected it and I sponged on Distress inks from Ranger in various shades of purple and blue — sorry I didn’t keep track of which ones — but I was having too much fun. I splattered it with water to add a little interest and I quickly removed the circle mask.
To finish off the card, I splattered it lightly with silver mist, then stamped some bats from the LP296 Trick or Treat Stamp Set set, the tree from CL886 Color Layering Fall Trees, and of course the C6106 Moon and Bat. And that was that!
